What we process

This website consists of static pages. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, loads no third-party fonts, scripts or embeds, and has no user accounts or forms.

Server logs. When you open a page, our web servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH, data centre in Germany, processing on our behalf) record the IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser identifier and status code. We use these logs only to operate and secure the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Reverse-proxy logs are deleted after four weeks (error logs after ten weeks), web-server logs after 14 days.

Email. If you write to contact@firmwareindex.com, the message is forwarded by Forward Email (Forward Email LLC, USA) to our mailbox. We use your message only to answer it (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and delete it when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the data protection authority of Baden-Württemberg.
