About Firmware Index

Firmware Index tracks every firmware build Samsung publishes for its phones, tablets and watches – including the history that most firmware sites drop after a few months.

Where the data comes from

We query Samsung's public firmware update service directly, for every model and region code, and record each build with its first appearance date. Updates run daily. Nothing is copied from other firmware websites.

What we don't do

We don't host or sell firmware files, require accounts or show download walls. To download a build, use one of the free tools from our download guide – they fetch the files straight from Samsung.
